The objective of the campaign is to raise awareness of the difficulties that children have coping with the imprisonment of a parent. Much research shows that children of prisoners are at far higher of risk of dropping out of school, getting involved in anti social behaviour, etc. Supporting children affected by imprisonment, and their families, is crucial in our efforts to ‘break the cycle’ of imprisonment.
